Northern Asian Power brought together a team of experts to discuss Net Zero and the Digital Economy at a roundtable meeting on Wednesday 15 March 2023 at the House of Lords, hosted by Lord Rami Ranger CBE. Organised by Sharon Kaur Jandu OBE, the event was supported by partners including Squire Patton Boggs; NatWest Business, Leeds Beckett University SME Centre for Excellence; The Association of International Accountants; YABCA, Yorkshire Asian Business Association (YABA), The Sekhon Group; Asian Business Leaders and West Yorkshire Combined Authority, among others.

The Net Zero and the Digital Economy roundtable featured presentations from The Right Hon. Andrea Jenkyns MP, as well as Lopa Patel MBE, Digital Entrepreneur and Chair of Diversity UK; Urvashi Parashar, Chief Impact Officer & Chief Economist, UK Infrastructure Bank; Hashem Abdi, ESG Manager at Squire Patton Boggs; Heather Waters, Regional Ecosystem Manager at NatWest Business; Natasha Nauth, Senior Relationship Director, Large Corporate Client Coverage at Natwest; Founder, Entrepreneur, Co-founder and advisor for AI SMEs and Startups, Sherin Mathew; Angela Malik-Agarwal, CEO and Founder of Planet Nourish, a digital healthcare company; Saira Ali, Landscape Architect and Team Leader for Landscape, Design and Conservation at Bradford Council; Siddique Amin, Karen French, Philip Turnbull, Jennie Holdstock, Sally Jones, Ricci Zahid Dean, Farakh Masood, Yvonne Hall, Baldev Singh, Tarsame Singh, Sam Chana, Mohammad Kola, and Ali Gordon who all took part in the discussions.
The event closed with a summary and vote of thanks from Hannah Kendrick, Head of Leeds Corporate Team at Squire Patton Boggs.
