The Warwick India Forum hosted its ‘Astitva – Purposeful Creation’ Conference 2023 on Sunday 5 February at The Oculus, University of Warwick with a line-up of speakers including: hotelier Surinder Arora, entrepreneurs Dr Ritesh Malik & Supriya Paul, digital entrepreneur Lopa Patel MBE, actor Saqeeb Saleem and stand-up comedian Rahul Subramanian.

Previous Speakers at the Warwick India Forum include: Indian politician and former member of Rajya Sabha, Dr Subramanian Swamy; cricketer Kapil Dev; Indian economist, author and columnist, Surjit Bhalla; author Chetan Bhagat; British banker and financial adviser Kamel Hothi; Indian comedian Atul Khatri; actors Boman Irani and Farhan Akhtar; British economist and former Labour politician, Lord Meghnad Desai; Indian social activist, Kiran Bedi; politician and writer Shashi Tharoor; British Indian business entrepreneur and politician, Dinesh Dhamija; Indian filmmaker, Rajkumar Hirani and Indian author and diplomat, Amish Tripathi, among others.

About Warwick India Forum

Warwick India Forum is a student-led organisation, whose goal is to generate awareness and understanding of the world’s largest democracy – India, and provide a platform for its members to address some of the country’s most pressing socio-economic, political, cultural, and environmental issues.
